The smallest 3D balancer with electromagnetic brake

The  ER10 PRO blends the already existing technical features – such as Auto Adaptive mode and Virtual Sonar – with the addition of an electromagnetic brake, which eases operations for counterweight application

Detection of wheel data

The automatic gauge enables detection of distance and diameter (from 12″ to 28″) with relative activation of desired balancing program (clip-on or stick-on weights). No error due to manual inputs possible.
The machine enables the operator to work according to his preferences. The correct application of counterweights can be selected in two different modes: with the accuracy of position repeater or the conventional 12 o’clock position.

Virtual Sonar

Virtual Sonar is the new CEMB software for a 3D wheel measurement which enables, in the absence of an actual sonar device, to detect the rim width. After having detected the first correction plane thanks to the automatic gauge, Virtual Sonar calculates the position of the external plane, according to the measured unbalance and the tolerance calculated with AutoAdaptive mode.

AutoAdaptive Mode

The innovative tolerance calculation system AutoAdaptive Mode is based on the evaluation of the residual imbalance limit value corresponding to an acceptable perceived vibration.  For each wheel that is balanced, the software AutoAdaptive Mode detects weight and dimensions and calculates the tolerance value that will cancel any vibration perceived on the steering wheel. AutoAdaptive Mode grants the highest comfort when driving.

Touch panel

Panel with Touch system, innovative, simple and durable. Allows intuitive use of all machine functions.

Electric brake

The electromagnetic brake, supplied as standard, locks the wheel in the exact weight position, granting a higher accuracy during correction.

Wheel structure analysis

Very often wheel vibrations are not caused by unbalances, but by a structural (geometrical) difformity of the wheel itself. ER100 EVO in a few seconds of a single spin displays unbalance and eccentricity of tire and rim.
The operator will be allerted on the screen when the total eccentricity value exceeds the maximum tolerance admissible.
Should the run-out value be out of tolerance, simply pressing a push-button the operator can visualize the best tire/rim mutual positioning to drive the total eccentricity value within tolerance.
If the operator requires, during the same measuring cycle, ER100 EVO can display also the values of conicity and tread-depth, detected through laser scan. The machine can also measure the eccentricity of the rim alone. A double scan on the two separate bead seating positions acknowledge the exact structure of the rim.

The integrated transmitter TR-27 measures the absolute vibrations of any rotating machine support and it is able to interface directly in 2 wires technique (current loop 4 ÷ 20 mA) to an acquisition system (PLC or DCS).

The transmitter, secured directly on machinery, generates an electric signal (4÷20 mA) which is proportional respectively to vibration velocity or acceleration.

The transmitter is made of an AISI 316L steel body with machine connection thread;the connection to the acquisition system is effected by means of an integral cable. It is available both a standard version (PVC shielded cable and nickel-plated brass cable gland) and a special version for aggressive environment (EFTE shielded armoured cable and AISI 316L steel cable gland).

TR-I-ATEX is made of a stainless steel body AISI 316L with machine connection thread and it is supplied with a die-casted aluminium case for the terminal board with ¾” NPT female thread.
